Huatulco has 9 bays and 36 beaches along 35 km of Pacific coastline in Oaxaca. Each bay has its own access, swell and services.
From November to April the sea is calmer and clearer — ideal for snorkeling. From May to October the landscape is greener with better surf.
The most common way is our 7 Bays boat tour, with stops to swim and snorkel. Some bays can also be reached by land.
San Agustín and Cacaluta have the shallowest, most visible reefs. Maguey and Órgano are great calm-water options.
For high season (December–April and Easter) we recommend 3–4 weeks. Outside those dates, one or two weeks is usually enough.
Huatulco International Airport (HUX) has flights from Mexico City, Oaxaca and other cities. It’s 15–20 minutes from the hotel zone.
